There are plenty of options to travel to Paris.

Organized or individually. Below suggestions and ideas.

1.    By car

2.    By train
We have an option to book group travel tickets through our preferred travel agency Nayak Reisen by means of a special Web site (please use this link for your booking or the respective link on the registration page).

Outbound:   Friday or Saturday, 16./17. 9. 05, departure from Basel SBB at 08:08am, arrival at Paris Gare de l‘Est 1:09pm
Return:     Departure from Paris Gare de l‘Est on Sunday, 18.9.05 at 5.11pm, arrival at Basel SBB at 10.12pm

With more than 10 people who travel together, a return ticket will cost per person:
2.Class CHF 122.- incl. of seat reservation, 1.Class CHF 176.- incl. of seat reservation..

There will be no additional travel agengy charges.

3. By air
Our preferred travel agency Nayak Reisen offers you to let them know your flight preferences to Paris by means of a special Web site (please use this link for your booking or the respective link on the registration page). Ticket costs will depend on your reservation date and are approx. CHF 180.– to CHF 450.-. If there are sufficient participants on the same flight it might perhaps be possible to receive a favourable group tariff.

If you book via this special Web page, there will be — with the exception of a small ticketing fee of CHF 30.- — no additional travel agency charges.

In case you prefer to book by telephone or by a personal appointment (Nayak Reisen Tel: +41 61 206 88 88) the travel agency must charge the normal booking and ticketing fees.

We have reserved rooms for you in several simple, romantic and „parisian“ hotels (17. arrondissement) in walking distance to the location of our event.

We are very happy to offer you the overnight accommodation of Saturday to Sunday 17/18 September inclusive of breakfast.

For those among you who would like to arrive earlier or stay longer in Paris, we have likewise reserved some rooms. We kindly ask you to settle the respective costs directly with the hotel. The room rates are all between approx. € 60.– and € 90.– per night. Please indicate on the registration form your arrival and departure dates so we can reserve the appropriate number of nights for you. We will communicate to you in June into which hotel we will have booked you. Unfortunately due to organizational reasons we are not in a position to guarantee a room in a hotel according to your preference.

If you prefer to book another hotel, of course you can do this. In this case we kindly ask you to book your hotel either through our preferred travel agency Nayak Reisen or on your own. This would then however have to take place fully at your own expense.
